Delete Your devo Account
You can request that your devo account and all associated data be permanently deleted at any time.
How to request deletion
Send an email to kcan0106.kh@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my devo account”. In the body, include the email address you use to sign in to devo.
We will:
- Confirm receipt within 3 business days.
- Delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of the request.
What is deleted
The following data is permanently deleted from our systems:
- Your profile (display name, handle, avatar).
- All reflections you have posted (text and images).
- All comments and reactions you have made on others’ posts.
- Your friend connections and group memberships.
- Your authentication account (email + password hash).
- Your push notification token.
What is retained
The following may be retained for the period specified, then permanently deleted:
- Crash logs and diagnostic data: retained up to 90 days for service stability purposes. Anonymized and not linked to your identity after account deletion.
- Server access logs: retained up to 30 days for security purposes.
Partial data deletion
If you want to delete specific content (a single reflection or comment) without deleting your account, you can do so directly inside the app. Long-press on the post or comment and select Delete.
