Delete your devo account
You can permanently delete your devo account and everything tied to it, at any time. No reason needed.
How to delete (in-app)
Open devo and go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Confirm the prompt. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted right away.
If you cannot access the app
If you have lost access to the app and cannot complete in-app deletion, email support@devo.fyi with the subject “Delete my devo account” and the email address you use to sign in to devo.
For email requests we will:
- Confirm receipt within 3 business days.
- Delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of the request.
What gets deleted
The following data is permanently deleted from our systems:
- Your profile (display name, handle, avatar).
- All reflections you have posted (text and images).
- All comments and reactions you have made on others’ posts.
- Your friend connections and group memberships.
- Your authentication account (email + password hash).
- Your push notification token.
What we hold onto briefly
The following may be retained for the period specified, then permanently deleted:
- Crash logs and diagnostic data: retained up to 90 days for service stability purposes. Anonymized and not linked to your identity after account deletion.
- Server access logs: retained up to 30 days for security purposes.
Just want to delete one thing?
If you want to delete specific content (a single reflection or comment) without deleting your account, you can do so directly inside the app. Long-press on the post or comment and select Delete.
